It started with my own novels.

I grew up in Beijing, and also spent three years in the US as a kid. That's where I started writing stories nobody asked for. Later, they turned into screenplays. I always wanted to make things people would feel something about.

I came back to the US for college at NYU, where I studied business at Stern and film at Tisch, with a minor in psychology. I wanted both, so I did both. On the film side, I've worked on sets, in development, and as a script supervisor, and I've produced and directed a lot of my own films as well.

I started out in data science, but I ended up in marketing because it brought everything together for me: the creative side, the numbers, and the psychology of why people care about what they care about.

Outside of work, I paint, take photos, watch a lot of movies, and play video games.
